Contracts

Brescia's Colombian defender Jhon Chancellor has signed a deal running until 2022.

Bournemouth striker Sam Surridge has signed a long term contract which keeps him at the South Coast club until 2024.

Experienced full-back Gary Miller has signed a deal until the end of the season with Falkirk.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri has signed a 1 year deal with Botafogo.

Brentford goalkeeper Luke Daniels has signed a new contract running until the end of the 2021 season, with a club option for a further year.

 


Transfers

Norwich City's German left-back Philip Heise has joined 1.FC Nuremberg on loan.

Udinese have loaned Brazilian forward Felipe Vizeu to Athletico Paranaense.

Galatasaray have signed both AS Monaco's former Everton winger Henry Onyekuru and RB Leipzig's Uruguayan full-back Marcelo Saracchi on loan.

Trabzonspor have paid a £158,000 loan fee to take Badou Ndiaye on loan from Stoke City.

Everton's Kieran Dowell has joined Wigan Athletic on loan.

Holstein Kiel have paid a £90,000 loan fee for Fabian Reese from FC Schalke 04 on loan.

Jevani Brown has joined Forest Green Rovers on loan from Colchester United.

Tranmere Rovers have taken Alex Woodyard on loan from Peterborough United.

Aston Villa have recalled goalkeeper Matija Sarkic from his loan spell at Livingston.

Schalke 04 goalkeeper Alexander Nubel is to join Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer.

 


Ghana Sack All Coaches

Ghana have sacked its entire national team coaching staff at all levels of the game. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) said: "The decision affects both male and female national teams. The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football. We wish them all the best in their endeavours."

 


McMahon Gets New Job

Dagenham have stepped in to appoint Daryl McMahon a day after he quit the role of Macclesfield Town's manager. McMahon replaces former Leicester City boss Peter Taylor, who quit on Sunday. Macclesfield have said they are taking legal advice over McMahon's resignation.

 


Guingamp Striker Killed In Car Crash

Guingamp have revealed that their 23 year old forward Nathael Julan has died in a car crash after training on Friday. The French striker had made 11 first team appearances for the club, who have cancelled a friendly they had scheduled against Concarneau. A club statement read: "Guingamp is in mourning," a club statement read. "On this tragic day, all the members of the club join together to send their sad condolences to Nathael's family."

 


US Soccer Postpones Qatar Camp

With escalating tension in the Gulf region due to the killing of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani at Baghdad airport, US Soccer has decided to postpone a planned training camp in Qatar. The US men's national team were due to train in Doha between 5th and 25th January ahead of their match with Costa Rica in California in February. US Soccer are now looking for alternative arrangements for their training camp.
