Football News: Dikgacoi denies rumours of longer term injury

Despite the rumours circulating around, Cardiff City's midfield general Kagisho Dikgacoi has denied rumours that his season is over due to injury.

The South African international explained, "I'm not out for the season, I should be able to get back to training at some point in February."

While that would still probably leave it until March before he returns to contention for the first team, it would still mean that the summer signing from Crystal Palace will be available for the crucial end of season run-in and any possible play off matches.

The Bluebirds are currently 9th in the Championship, just outside the play off places, after a poor start to the season.
