Injury Round-Up
Two St Mirren players have tested positive and a 3rd member of the first team squad has had to go into self-isolation. Manager Jim Goodwin says: "Two of the three are big players. It's a blow to lose them and we're low on numbers as it is. It's one thing after another at the moment."
Managerial Changes
Disciplinary Charges
Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is facing punishment after Italy's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora confirmed that it is believed he broke lockdown rules by travelling to join his country Portugal while Juventus were in isolation. Spadafora was asked on Radio Uno if Ronaldo had breached rules and the minister replied: "Yes, I think so, if there were no specific authorisations from the health authority. I think that, at the moment, the protocols in force for the sports championships, both for Serie A football and for the sports associations and clubs are valid as long as they are respected. And if there is someone who does not respect them, then the cases that we read in the news are created."
Southgate Backs Maguire
England manager Gareth Southgate has given his backing to England and Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire, despite Maguire's sending off, poor form and off-field escapades in recent months. Southgate said: "He's having a difficult period and in these periods you learn a lot about yourself. You learn who's there for you in those difficult times. He'll come through it, he'll be a better player and a stronger man for it. To go down to 10 men is costly for the team, but we fully back him, we fully support him."

After deciding against 'Project Big Picture' the Premier League instead made an offer to the English Football League of a proposed £50m rescue package to League One and Two. The offer was rejected as it "falls some way short" of the money they need.
