Rotherham United have had to postpone their third consecutive Championship match due to three positive CV tests among their players and staff. Their training ground, Roundwood, was already closed down due to previous positive tests.

Middlesbrough have revealed that defender Anfernee Dijksteel has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury.

Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian whinger Neymar has once again been ruled out, meaning he has yet again been unable to play during his sister's birthday.

Managerial Changes

Oldham Athletic have already appointed the replacement for Harry Kewell, who they sacked on Sunday. Keith Curle, who was previously manager of Northampton Town and Carlisle United, has been given a deal until the end of the season.

After eight years in charge of Aberdeen, Derek McInnes has stepped down from the manager's job. The Dons are sat in fourth in the Scottish Premiership and McInnes leaves amid frustration from the fans regarding his conservative playing style.

Joachim Loew has announced that he will step down from the role of Germany's head coach after the European Championships in the summer. Since winning the World Cup in 2014 performances and results have gradually faded, with the team exiting the 2018 World Cup at the group stage. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already ruled himself out of the running as replacement, saying that he is not available for the job.

Disciplinary Charges

The family of Emiliano Sala have named 13 defendants in legal action over the footballer's death at the age of 28 in an airplane crash. The Argentinian had just signed for Cardiff City from Nantes and was returning from France when his plane crashed into the English Channel. Defendants include the two football clubs, David Henderson, who is claimed to have arranged the flight, Cool Flourish Ltd and its majority shareholder Fay Keely, who are alleged to own the plane, plus Willie and Mark McKay and their agency, Piper Aircraft, Eastern Air Executive and Aerotech Aircraft Maintenance Ltd. Investigators looking into the incident established that the pilot, David Ibbotson, had an expired pilot's licence, no night-flying training and the plane's autopilot and brake were faulty plus there were no carbon monoxide detectors.

Wolfsburg defender Paulo Otavio has been given a four-game ban after he lunged in two-footed on Hoffenheim's Mu'nas Dabbur as he was about to slot the ball into an empty net. Otavio, who had just been booked a few minutes earlier, blatantly took out Dabbur with a scissors challenge after Wolfsburg keeper Koen Casteels was caught upfield attacking a corner in stoppage time with Hoffenheim leading 2-1.

Erling Haaland could face disciplinary action after his actions sparked a mass bust-up in the Champions League game between Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. Haaland scored a penalty and decided to celebrate his goal by screaming in goalkeeper Yassine Bounou's face, taunting him with a shout of "unlucky", causing Sevilla players to react angrily and a scuffle to ensue between both sets of players.
