Injury Round-Up

Swansea City's Welsh international defender Connor Roberts has been ruled out until September as the 25-year-old needs groin surgery.


Managerial Changes

Following their relegation to League Two, Rochdale boss Brian Barry-Murphy has quit the club.

Barnsley have once again returned to Austrian football to find their coach, following on from Gerhard Struber and Valerien Ismael, and appointed Markus Schopp as head coach. The 47 year old was managing Austrian side TSV Hartberg.

Despite some fan unrest, Everton have appointed former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez as their new head coach on a 3-year contract. The Spaniard becomes just the second man to manage Everton and Liverpool, the first was William Edward Barclay in the 1890s.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has taken charge at Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs had been struggling to find a new man to replace Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in April.

Former Everton and Watford boss Marco Silva has been appointed as Fulham's new coach to replace Scott Parker. Silva has brought in former Fulham and Arsenal player Luis Boa Morte as his assistant.

Juve Make Huge Losses

Juventus are looking to a share issue to raise capital as they have revealed they expect to lose around £275m due to the pandemic. The Turin club lost the Serie A title they had been holding onto since 2012 last season and are now looking to raise around £343m from the share sale.
