Egyptian Premier League side El Gouna have signed Amro Tarek on a free transfer from Major League Soccer's NY Red Bulls.

Managerial Changes

Zimbabwe have appointed Norman Mapenza as caretaker coach of their national team, after Zdravko Logarusic was sacked on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest have sacked Chris Hughton after a disastrous spell in charge of the Championship club. Hughton managed just 14 wins in 53 games, with 6 losses in 7 matches this season. Steven Reid has been given interim charge of the team.

 


Disciplinary Charges

A Chelsea fan has been charged by police with making racist and anti-Semitic tweets. The 21-year-old has been charged with 7 counts of sending offensive messages, before being reported to the police by Chelsea FC.

Despite support from Harvey Elliott, Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk's red card, which he received after injuring the Liverpool midfielder in a tackle, has been upheld. Struijk will now serve a 3-match ban.

Port Vale's Devante Rodney has been banned for 3 games for violent conduct.

Swindon Town have been given a 3-point deduction suspended until 30 June 2022 over the non-payment of player wages in June.
