Football News: Football League highlights show set for switch

Channel 5 are set to announce they have won the bidding to show Football League highlights from next season (2015/2016)

A reported three year deal worth £2 million each year has beaten off competition from the BBC which sees the corporation suffering another blow to its sporting coverage.

In a move which will please supporters of the lower leagues Channel 5 plan to air the 90 minute show at 9pm on Saturday evenings.
