John Ruddy has praised the work of ex-Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan, since his arrival to work at Norwich City.
Phelan spent five years working on the coaching staff at Man Utd, prior to moving on when David Moyes took charge of the club.
After months of being linked with a number of managerial roles, Phelan eventually returned to football with a team he used to play for, Norwich.
Now his impact at the Canaries is receiving praise from the players there, with England keeper John Ruddy telling Sky Sports:
"He's been there for two or three weeks now and had a real influence. The sessions are good and the way that he and the gaffer work together. It's good to see that we're going in the right direction.
"I think there is a lot more structure about the place now. Mike, coming from where he has come from and working with Sir Alex Ferguson for a number of years, has brought that aura about him and he demands respect, rightly so.
"I think they complement each other very well and that's showing not just in the results, but the performances as well. We look more solid as a unit all over the pitch and we're reaping the rewards. Long may it continue."
