Leeds United Players Review V Fulham

The old adage that you learn more in defeat could actually end up helping Javi a lot by what he saw tonight. Here's what I think he will have noticed.

Meslier: A little suspect on long rang shots and very nervous with the ball at his feet and could do with being replaced with a more reliable GK. May do so Saturday it's 50:50 I'll make a change

Rasmus: Unfortunately a bit too slow for the EPL and prone to giving the ball away carelessly too often and definitely more a liability than an asset.
Don't think I'll play him again until or if we are safe from relegation

Koch, Ayling and Firpo: Acceptable and will be greatly improved by Wober's return on Saturday.

Rocca, Adams and Mckennie: Not as good as I hoped as all 3 gave the ball away cheaply one of which lead to Fulham s first goal but on the whole I saw enough to persevere as there was on a number of occasions very good situations created but unfortunately we couldn't execute or take advantage of them.

Gnonto: opposition are clearly doubling up on him, identifying him as our most dangerous player which is nullifying his goal threat.
May have to think of not starting him Saturday but bring him on after an hour.

Rutter: Very unlucky not to score, harsh decision by the referee that probably changed the momentum of the match.
I liked what I saw, just needs a goal. Definitely starts on Saturday.

Summerville: Not bad but could do with some serious shooting practice, but did enough to start Saturday.

Bamford and Aaronson: Serious shooting practice needed by these two also and useful to have as last 10-15 minute subs but didn't do enough to convince me they should start Saturday.

Harrison: looks a good player wide left and definitely caused Fulham problems so has a very good chance of starting Saturday.

Overall disappointed by our poor chance conversion and sloppy first goal gifted to Fulham, but I think with a little tweak in team selection, a higher level of concentration and extensive practice in shooting outside the box, this team can definitely get enough league points to stay up.
