Hearts have revealed that all their outstanding football debts have been paid off months in advance.

Expected to take two years, but Hearts, under the leadership of Ann Budge, have managed to pay it off in just 6 months.

The final outstanding payments, which was unpaid players' salaries, has now been fully paid off.

The debts were incurred under the reign of Vladimir Romanov and included payments to players such as Andrew Driver, now of DC United, Marius Zaliukas, now of Rangers, and John Sutton, now at Motherwell.

PFA Scotland have praised the prompt payment of the outstanding debts, as the club have also managed to become the first to pay the living wage as well.
