Football News: Coke close to a return

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke is nearing a return to action with the Championship side.

Coke has been out since the derby clash with Rotherham United in early November and now the 28 year old former Motherwell and Northampton Town playmaker is raring to go.

Coke said: "I'm feeling good and I hope to be back within two weeks.

"I don't know how I hurt my Achilles. I think I was carrying the knock for a while and was playing through it.

"It just got to the stage where it was hurting too much so I had to stop."
