Football News: Cech praises Chelsea side as he watches from the sidelines

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has heaped lavish praise on a Chelsea side he is no longer a regular in.

Cech believes that the current Chelsea side could go on to be the best in the club's history, despite him having lost his place in the team to Thibaut Courtois after his return from a loan spell with Atletico Madrid.

"This team has the potential and the quality to be one of the best in Chelsea's history - if it can prove it by winning trophies." He is quoted by the London Evening Standard.

"I like the way we approach games. We want to win every game. You cannot go and just say we leave this competition and chase another one because in that competition you pick you can have one unlucky game and you're out. That is why we try to win every game and progress in everything we have entered."
