Football News: Strange move for Spurs (Opinion)

Daniel Levy has moved to appoint a new 'Head of Football Operations' at Tottenham Hotspur.

The man Levy has headhunted, well actually woman, Rebecca Caplehorn, seems a strange choice to me for the role.

Not because she is a woman, but because her only real experience in football is at QPR, as their finance director.

So no real experience of football operations, just some time on the financial side of a football club that is amongst the worst managed clubs, in terms of finance, around.

They have gone so far beyond the FFP regs that they face a massive fine if relegated back to the Championship.

I just do not understand what about her made him decide to go and get her to run football operations at White Hart Lane.
