Football News: Spurs Must Stand Firm Over Kane

This summer the rumours have already started linking Harry Kane with a move to Manchester United and it will not be long before the media have him moving to anyone with a large amount of money to spend. I am sure it will be Manchester City next to be linked, as they need to increase their home grown quota.

The thing is that Tottenham Hotspur would have to be mad to let Kane leave this summer, they are already extremely short in the forward line with him at the club. Kane might turn out to be a flash in the pan whose career fades out, but he is all Spurs have right now, so they have to take that chance that he really is all that he seems.

Kane is almost the perfect forward for Mauricio Pochetinno's style of play, that high press really needs a striker willing to lead the press from the front. Harry Kane does that really well, his workrate is probably the most impressive thing about him as a player, so few players work as hard as they should.

No matter how much money is thrown the way of White Hart Lane, Daniel Levy will need to reject it. Harry Kane is not irreplaceable, yet, but Spurs are just not in a position to lose him. Though I suppose there is always Emmanuel Adebayor.....
