Former Everton and Real Madrid winger Royston Drenthe has left Sheffield Wednesday following the ending of his loan deal.
The Dutch wideman joined the Owls in September, making seven start and eight appearances from the bench while in Yorkshire.
Despite Wednesday's request to have the loan deal extended, Drenthe was recalled by Reading as they look to make a decision on his long term future at the Royals.
