Football News: Forster closes in on comeback

21 year old centre back Jordon Forster is closing in on a comeback to the Hibernian first team.

The defender has been missing from action since suffering a broken foot in a freak training ground accident back in October.

The youngster returned to training last week and is now looking to step up a return in time for the busy Christmas period.

Forster said: "I am happy to say that I am now back in training and I am feeling good and strong. The manager may want me to play a couple of under-20 games in order to get properly back up to speed.

"We'll have to wait and see, but I've spoken with the fitness and medical team and hopefully I'll get some game time with the under-20s.

"If there are no hiccups I'll be back with the first team as soon as possible."
