Football News: City hit by more injuries

Manchester City have been hit by more injuries, on top of the loss of Sergio Aguero and Stefan Jovetic.

In their 1-0 win over Leicester City yesterday Man City were hit by another injury blow, one which casts doubt over their chances of catching Chelsea in the Premier League.

Not only did they lose their final senior striker Edin Dzeko, but they also lost captain Vincent Kompany, with both players ruled out for the busy Christmas period.

There has been some good news on the injury front for the Citizens, as David Silva has returned to the team, but even he is unlikely to be able to make up for the loss of all 3 of the club's senior strikers.
