Disciplinary Charges
Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger was hit by a lighter thrown from the crowd during the win over Tottenham Hotspur. The match had to be paused while objects that had been thrown at him were removed from the pitch.
At the Everton-Aston Villa match, three were arrested for throwing objects, one of them charged with assault.
At Manchester United's home game against West Ham United, the away fans clashed with police.
The end of Southampton's draw with Manchester City was marred by a pitch invasion, with fans grappling with police and stewards.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has been charged with improper conduct following his sending off against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ipswich Town midfielder Sam Morsy has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.
Crush Kills 8
The African Cup of Nations has gone from a farce to a tragedy as 8 are killed and a further 38 injured in a crush outside the Olembe Stadium before the game between Cameroon and Comoros. Two children were amongst those killed outside the stadium which was constructed especially for the tournament. It was due to host a quarter-final on Sunday but has been moved to the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
