Football News: Stoke chase Oranje star

The agent of PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali has claimed that Stoke City have enquired about signing his client.

Bakkali has been in dispute with the Eredivisie club and is looking to leave in January, following his banishment from the first team there.

The 18 year old has been linked with Atletico Madrid and Manchester United in recent months but his agent has revealed the Potters are in the mix.

Speaking to Voetbal International, Marcel Veerman said, "The most important thing for Zakaria is the chance of playing time. That is paramount."

"Stoke want him, so therefore they are an option."
