Football News: Arsenal increase Suarez offer

Arsenal football club have tabled a new and improved offer for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.The bid was £40,00000 and £1 pound has been rejected by Liverpool.That is Arsenal's second bid for Suarez with Liverpool having already rejected a £30 million pound bid from Arsenal last week for Luis Suarez.

The bid of £40,00000 and £1 pound is because of a clause in Luis Suarez contract which says if a club bids over £40 million pounds then that allows them to speak to the player however Liverpool still have the option whether they would like to accept or reject the bid as the clause is not a buy out clause.

The controversial striker is also attracting interest from Real Madrid who are likely to make a bid for Suarez soon with Gonzalo Higuain moving to Napoli to free up funds for Real Madrid to table a bid for the 26 year old Uruguayan international who is believed to be keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

However Arsenal are also Likely to make another bid for Suarez so that could spark a potential bidding war between Real Madrid and Arsenal for Suarez.Suarez is now allowed to speak to Arsenal which may give them the upper hand in the fight for the striker with Real Madrid saying they value the striker at £25 million pounds.
